Automatic Z axis probe

Good day all,
All the new announcements from Onefinity has me re-thinking about the whole bit setter (EasyZ) concept.
I noticed in the item page, it mentions you need to have a PRO series machine to be able to buy the Onefinity Pro Series Easy Adapter. Can someone explain this to me? Aren’t both the PRO and ORIGINAL series using the same controller with the same firmware?

At the moment, I move my touch probe from one location to another when it comes time to change tools. I am using the Bot Setter Macro V2 for this. Since we are using the touch probe for both, would it not stand to reason that attaching the touch probe and the tool setter to the same port on the BB controller give you the same functionality but without having to move the touch plate around?

Not sure if this makes sense. Hopefully it does.

My idea was to get something like the attached and piggy back on the same port.

I am thinking the touch plate would be a open control when the 2nd wire is not connected to the router bit. So this touch probe might need to be open instead of closed by default.

Thanks and apologies for the long post and multiple questions. Trying to make sense of all this.

No one has any comments or idea on how this would work?
