I want to change the user name and password for my Onefinity CNC Controller v1.0.8. I change the user name and leave the current password blank but it won’t let me change the password as it says it’s incorrect. Any suggestions?

the default password for the “bbmc” user is either “onefinity” or “buildbotics”.
You would have found this by using the forum’s search function.
Furthermore, on systems that are set up to avoid to log in as root and therefore are configured that an ordinary user or a user group has ‘sudo’ privileges, you can become root (the superuser) with the command “sudo -i”. Then, as root, you can change any password without knowing how it was before.
