Different Cut Depth on Horizontal And Vertical Passes

Can someone help me with this issue. I’m getting different cutting depths on vertical and horizontal passes using carveco maker and the only difference between the two ops is vertical lines on Op1 and horizontal lines on Op2. And the severity depends on the location on the table. Left side of the table has two very clear differences in depth and the right side has about equal depths. Front to rear is similar but the front of the table is just overall lower than the rear, which is its own issue. I have trammed the table within a range of ~.010" across the front to rear and left to right, lowest being .002" and highest being .008", according to my authentic Mitutoyo dial test indicator on a 3D printed 10" tramming arm. When flattening the front of the table flattens out nicely and it gets worse as it goes back. Ridges left from flattening after tramming are worse on the right and rear of the table where the ridges don’t catch your finger nail but they can still be felt and on the front and left they are less pronouned. But micro tramming is a whole other issue I’m working through, but I wanted to check things like this grid before putting time into micro-tramming. Also, when drilling holes, the holes at the front of the table go through the waste board and the holes at the rear of the table don’t go through.

I’m thinking the issue is this QCW that I have it mounted on, I’m thinking its sagging or twisted or something, but I would like some input from people who have their table set up within a few thou across the entire table.

For the record, I have a Gen 2 Elite Foreman 4x4 on the heavy duty QCW with 2.2kW 80mm Spindle.

Thanks for the help.

Issue Resolved

The QCW was twisted pretty bad…

…because I forgot to level it after I moved it. Leveled it, resurfaced, and leveled again, now resurfacing again, looking much better. Now I can start micro tramming. I guess I’ll update again after I rerun the grid.
