is there a way to save the setup of the joystick so when you boot the controller the joystick has the OneFinity settings?

No… the joystick is independent (like a mouse), it does not remember anything…
The wireless Joystick controller times out… (and runs out of battery power from time to time). You must turn it on to continue Joystick operation.
The Wired Joystick controller is on all the time….
I use both so I don’t have to stop operation when the batteries die…

I’ve never had to adjust my joystick. When I turn it on it remembers the keep the top two quadrant lights on (Onefinity configuration).
