So i am trying to perform a dryrun of a cut, and i would like to keep the Z Axis down to get a better idea of where the cut wil take place. however, for some reason the Z Axis raises all the way to the max height no matter what i do. I wonder if this is an issue with my Fusion 360 file, as my ventric files do not seem to cause this issue. Anyone have any ideas?
Try setting you z zero 1:2” above you true zero
Yes, it seems that there is a “WCS” origin that needs to be set so that the Z depth uses what you define in your retract heights. This is what you need to set for anyone else that finds this
