Elite Machine keeps running on Dry Run

Hi all,
I am new to CNC and learning everyday, i just had my new Elite Foreman few weeks back and trying to get to have my first successful carve done. Currently I am having few issues:

  1. Machine keeps running in Dry Run as soon as i hit Cycle Run, i tried hitting dry run + enter than running it again but it keeps going back to dry run.
I also tried to switch dry run off in settings but it gives me error to check it back and does the same thing again.

  2. Tool shows Tool 1 but as soon as i load my file tool changes to Spindle, i am doing this on my Makita router but how do i bring it back to Tool/Router - Is this something that needs to be fixed while I am creating G-code in tools as I didnt notice it during the Vectric software tutorials.

  3. Also after probing my XYZ axis as soon as the cycle starts z axis goes up and stays there not sure if it is because the machine is doing dry run.

Thank you
Bapu

Thank you, i redid the G-code and didnt realize Tool 0 was set for Dry run, changed it to Tool 1 and it fixed the issue.

I stumbled across this mode in a similar way today. I did a little checking, and discovered that if I load a file, then edit its tool number to T0 on the touchscreen, it will switch to dry run mode as soon as cycle start triggers. Editing again back to another tool and tapping cycle start again does not switch back to normal mode, however, and I don’t have a Dry Run button on my MDI screen as I have seen suggested on OneFinity’s site. I had to power cycle the controller to escape Dry Run mode. Am I missing something?
