Have the j tech 14 watt laser I am setting up. Want to run the air assist off my shop air thru a regulator and a 110 volt air solenoid. I am currently running a spindle and the router port on control box is empty. I want to use the router 110v port. Question is, Is this possible and what remapping would need to be done to make this work so the air assist only turns on when the laser is being used?
Port turns on with an m3 command. That’s all you’d need.

Wouldn’t the spindle try and come on also?
Sure would. Just unplug the vfd for that job.
