It would be great if you offered an Elite machine that would have a footprint more conducive to fitting on a workbench, say 24"x48". The 32’X32" just doesn’t fit well in a small garage shop.

usually Onefinity will tell you that a different sized machine requires different packaging, different workflow etc. and that they will offer such only if there is enough demand. But you could shorten the chrome-plated, hardened steel hollow shafts with a metal saw.
You could also buy a machinist model and do larger workpieces with tiling.
However such feature request this is sometimes expressed.

FWIW, I just put a 32" x-axis on my Machinist, giving me a 32 x 16 inch machine that is a much better fit for my small workshop than 32 x 32. OF also sold me the parts to convert my QCW to fit the new configuration.
