Elite Woodworker and Journeyman height

Onefinity mentioned in another topic that the foreman is about 25" in height from bottom to top. What is the overall height of the journeyman and woodworker elite variants? From the photos, they look similar to the non-elite versions at around 18", though with the Z-20 it looks closer to 20".

That is what I am assuming. With the upgraded Z axis, this adds an unknown height. I’m looking for this additional height.

Not really, the Foreman Z20 is sitting on 2 X50 rails, not X35 rails. Thats 30mm rail height difference, plus the spacing between the rails. And the feet may have changed due to the larger rails.

Only the foreman is on all X/Y50 rails. the Journeyman and Woodworker have 3 X50 rails(X50 stiffy plus the 2 standard X rails). These sit on the 4 Y35 rails(2 on each side).

From the announcement video, only the foreman has 50mm Y rails.

Hey Swick,

Elite_Journeyman_X-50_Y-35

absolutely correct. They did not repeat it on the Elite version of Journeyman page, but it’s mentioned in the Standard version of Journeyman page:

With a cutting area of 48" x 32" you have the ability to machine full sheets of Plywood, MDF, etc… Rigidity is not an issue with 50mm Linear hollow shafts standard on the X Axis (Stiffy is unnecessary)
[…]
X-rail is composed of 50mm Hollow Linear Motion Shafts and the Y-rails are composed of two 35mm Hollow Linear Motion Shafts.

What they meant is, in fact, not “X-50 on Y”, but Y-50 rails (requested here)
