Has anyone else gotten this email asking for your serial number in order to register it? threatening that without doing this you will not be able to receive updates to the software? Is this a scam? cause it sure sounds like one. the email came from Agustin@onefinitycnc.com never heard of them.
When I picked up my x35 Woodworker many years ago at Onefinity, a gentleman name Agustin helped me out - he was quite pleasant and answered a lot of my questions.
Perhaps with the recent changes Masso has made with tiers, it is important to confirm who you are, which would require your SN.
Always best to reach out directly to get an answer - likely you’ve done so.
This is legit. Masso is trying to have all Onefinity machines with Masso’s registered on their site for data registration.
We wouldn’t say ‘threatening’. More just informating that, with the way Masso works, the only way to download firmware updates for your Masso controller is through their site, which you must be registered.

When was this email from Masso sent, I have a Masso on mt Elite Forman and have never been asked for my serial #. Am I supposed to contact them?
We (Onefinity) sent the emails to the serials we have records of not being registered. If you didn’t get an email, you are fine.
