From what I can tell, it looks like there are 3 pairs of I/O pins being used to track what tool is currently active. I believe this is the case since MASSO doesn’t support variables/parameters being used in g-code. If that is indeed how they are used, then it wouldn’t be possible to use more than 8 tools (2^3 = 8). On top of that, presumably one tool value would need to be reserved to handle the situation of a bit that must be manually changed. If that is the case, then you wouldn’t even be able to use all 8 tool slots in a 2 ATC configuration. I really hope I’m wrong on this. How many ATCs have you guys chained together and used successfully?

For what it is worth, I have the Rapidchange ATC with 8 pockets and it works fine.
