I changed more than one variable each time, so I’m not exactly sure. On the last run that fixed it, I made sure I was running the G-code with post processer as GRBL (instead of Basic G Code) out of Carbide Create, and I also changed the units to Metric since that is what shows up as default on the 1F. I have since cut some of the Cam clamps with great success as well.
What Cam clamps? 
Just the Cam Clamps from @MyersWoodshop you can get them on his Etsy CNC Laser 3D Printing SVGs Digital Files And by BenMyersWoodshop or on his blog for free https://www.myerswoodshop.com/ he has a pretty strong following around his threaded waste board setup. Search Myers Woodshop on youtube and you will see his setup for his Shapeoko, but it all works just as well for the 1F.
