Here I sit broken hearted but my order hasn't started

Well here I am. My number is supposed to be shipped according to the lead time listing on the website. Apr. 20. but I see no email, no updates, no nothing. HMMMM so much for 12 weeks looks like I will be waiting yet another two weeks. Oh well It is spring and there’s lots to do anyway.

I hear ya. I have seen two estimated ship dates come and go now.

Unless they think that once they clear this black friday / holiday sale backlog, their current timetable for new orders seems awful optimistic also. Both of us will be 16-18 weeks before we get the machine, and I will be another probably 4 behind that on the spindle. Yet they say if I were to still be talked into ordering one today, I would have it AND the spindle in 16 weeks.

Crazy that by the time I have the complete setup I ordered it will be 5 months, about the lead time of another machine I didn’t select because I didn’t want to wait that long…

Sort of like ordering the spindle to not have to “get started” with a router and then upgrade. Yet here I am with a router on the bench.

Hopefully once this thing is finally here we will have something better to talk about, like all the cool stuff we are figuring out how to do. Right?

… and then, out of nowhere…. the clouds parted… and the broken-hearted feeling suddenly melted away in an instant… and the sun began to shine…. as a box full of goodies arrived to change “everything”!!!

Some things are just worth the wait, and when your order finally arrives, you will feel like a kid on Christmas morning. This stuff is built like a tank and looks great. Enjoy the fresh smell of cold steel and machine oil, because, within no time, this stuff will be covered in wood dust…. And you will soon bond with your new partner like a man (or woman), atop your trusty horse, ready to take on the wild west!

Ha ha!

Thanks to everyone at Onefinity and Redline….. it was well worth the wait!

Those are indeed some well crafted and inspring words.

From someone who has already received what they shelled out for who knows how long ago.

Not trying to knock, but were you this optimistic and enthusiastic BEFORE you had at least received even one email from someone you sent $5000+ to several months ago?
And who, every time you inquired, said ‘next week’?

Grass is always freener when youre the one on the field and the other guys are just watching through the fence and keep getting promised 'youre up next ’

Maybe I’m just bitter? Or maybe I am waiting to see if my THIRD estimated ship date happens or I just get placated again.

At this point I dont believe the sun rises in the east until I see it. And at that point, it will not be glorious, it will be the sunrise I was told I could enjoy weeks ago.

Now that you have it, you kiss the ring. Is that supposed to make the rest of us feel better?

I wouldn’t GAF if someone had just told me I was funding a kickstarter and would have to wait an undetermined amount of time to maybe get a half finished version of what I “bought”. But no, I was led to believe I was buying a product the seller had in hand and just had to get through the order list to ship mine. Like normal businesses do.

16 weeks in and nothing but a promise that I am “in the queue”. And that’s for only part of my order. The rest, you know, the part that makes it actually do something, is several more weeks or months out. And in the meantime the suggestion is to go buy an inferior tool I intentionally opted out of, until I get what I bought.

Keep chugging that Kool-Aid, bro.

hey mrkrag i got my shipping notice yesterday. mine was over 7 grand and counting. I feel your pain.
