Apologies if I missed this in a previous post or video, but are the rail tramming bolts actually used to “tram” the rail in the block, or do they exist more for keeping the rail from “wandering under pressure”?

There are a few methods to tram your machine. Loosening some z mount bolts, using 123 blocks, tram arms, folded pieces of tin foil, are all methods that can have acceptable outcomes. Why a “stiffy” for the X50? When I purchased my X50 last year I got the impression a stiffy wasn’t needed (like the X35)?
