If i am using metric bits while my file is saved in imperial units will the vetrics software, make the corrections? for example say i need a 3/16 hole and i am using a 3mm bit with a one eighth shank. and i am using imperial measurements will i get the 3/16 hole i am asking for?
As long as everything is properly defined, the software will work out the rest. Using metric bits on imperial designs is fine, as is using imperial bits on metric designs.
