What depth is the best for inlays on end grain cutting boards .

I like at least 1/8th on any cutting board. 3/16 IMO is better as it allows for blade wear and resurfacing in the future. Of course you have to adapt to what type of inlay you are using some veneers are only avail super thin.

I went .20" which seemed to be pretty good and easy to work with on this board

I love that board Bill… Def the coolest Cutting board I’ve ever seen. I hope if you sold it you charged over a Grand… .Well worth it!!!
