J tech laser no cut

iam haveing a problem cutting out stars with my 14 w jt.i cant get it to fire at a higher power,it etches real good. but cutting not so good iam running vectric SW.where is the power stated from on the tools in vectric iam running 100% 5 laps nice etch no cut.please help Thank you…
