Hello got my laser set up. Using lightburn run my first burn and its coming out spotty???

Looked at my settings said running at 70 % power

Kind of looks like it might be the grain. The lighter grain seems to come out lighter. I’d try turning up the power, lowering the speed and/or run the burn multiple times. (I don’t have a JTech, but that’s what I’d do with my CO2 laser.

Thanks!! Im not sure how to turn the power up! :thinking: any sugguestions?

Update. I chose a different type of wood and slowed the burn down by decreasing the white space speed and it appears to be going fine. Thanks!
