Hello,
I have the Buildbotics box and the X50 woodworker. I have a consistent problem losing WIFI connectivity after my unit has been on for a while. There does not seem to be any rhyme or reason to when is shuts off.
I turn on my system and there are times I need to do multiple carves after epoxy pours, which can take days. Sometimes I have wifi to my computer for the entire time. Sometimes the wifi quits connecting after a day, an hour it just doesn’t make sense.
Hopefully someone can help.
I had similar issues maintaining connectivity, I decided to install a travel router as an access point and use its LAN port. Been working perfectly since - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N5RCZQH?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_22

thanks for the response. is the device you referenced similar to a EERO? I have the eero wifi extenders set up in my house, and one right next to the buildbotics.
I believe it is, does your EERO have a LAN port that you can hardwire the BB controller to? I believe the issue here is that the Wifi adapter int he BB controller sits inside a metal box so that may be causing your grief. I set mine up in “Client” mode, then used the LAN cable that came with it to my 1F.
" Client : In this mode, this device can be connected to another device via Ethernet port and act as an adapter to grant your wired devices access to a wireless network, especially for a Smart TV, Media Player, or game console only with an Ethernet port."
It works surprisingly well for the price.
