I was in drawing up a dust boot that would clamp to a Makita router.
I was going to 3D print the file. It then occured to me that maybe the router would get too hot for PLA.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
I would hate to put too much time into a design that would simply melt or distort when the router heats up.

The router doesn’t get very hot

@Ziggy I would guess he uses PETG.

I don’t think it would be wasted time, even if the PLA did melt. If it does, you could always reprint in PETG. I think you’re probably okay with PLA, though.
