MASSO - run the same program twice

I feel like I must be doing something wrong. If I try to run the same program twice on my MASSO controller, it runs fine the first time from loading it, but when I try to run it again on another work piece, the spindle goes to safe-z, and then nothing happens.

I end up loading a different toolpath, and reloading the one I need to run to get it going.

Am I missing something?

Are you pressing rewind again before trying to run the program a second time in a row?

Hey Jeffrey,

Be kind – rewind

I didn’t even see that button lol. Should I see something on screen when pressed? The display showed line 882, pressed rewind and it didn’t change.

I didn’t actually have anything else to run yesterday evening, will try it today.

From the online manual…

Loading & Running G-Code

MASSO runs gcode files directly from the USB Flash drive. Please see the below video for instructions on how to load and run gcode files.

Files with extensions .nc, .cnc, .tap, .wiz, .txt, .eia are displayed in the F6 - Load File screen.

Gcode files as big as 4GB can be run on controller.

If you are loading a very large Gcode and do not want to wait for the toolpath preview to be displayed you can press the Escape button on screen or the ESC key on the keyboard to cancel the preview.

Gcode files can also be transferred wirelessly using WiFi connection and transferring files from PC using the MASSO Link software.

WARNING: After loading your Gcode file you must press the Rewind button before pressing Cycle Start to run your program.

Thanks for this. Is this from the MASSO documentation on the MASSO site? Or elsewhere?

Masso online manual, under the “Machining With Masso” chapter.
