Merge a list into software

In most word processors you can send a form letter to a list of names and addresses by merging a list into the word processor. Then you can print those letters with the names and addresses that are on the list.

I am wondering if a similar function is available for carving on a cnc?

Say a church wants to order plaques for all of it’s members as some sort of promotion. 300 plaques with a different name on each one. A function similar to the merge/print would save an awful lot of work by not requiring new programing for each of the 300 names.

I hope I explained that so it is understood.

Sailor Mike, This is exactly what I was asking about. This performs just like word processors I have used. Right down to the CSV file.
