Ami I the only one who hates the Masso? I have had constant issues with it since I “upgraded” from the BB controller.
Every single time I turn it on I get motor alarms. Now it’s the Z alarm and the Z isn’t even close to the sensor. It takes me at least 10 minutes each time I use this to get it working somewhat correctly.
I have to power it off and then on and hope it works the next time. Last weekend it was the Y motor. I have checked continuity on all wires. Everything checks out. When I get passed the alarms it seems to work fine. I’m seriously considering the Redline controller or going with a different brand altogether.
Edit. Now, I just got a B motor alarm in the middle of a cut. This thing is a piece of shit!
I’ve had it 3+ years and it is far, far, from a piece of sh*t.
It’s technology. It requires patience, and sometimes things go wrong. When I first got mine, as an early adopter, I had issues, but with a bit of patience and some excellent support I’ve never had a problem since.
In fact, I look at the Redline controller, and struggle to see (apart from being the newest thing out) how it would actually improve, or add features to what I already have?
I’m yet to receive the answer, and I know it’s all ‘relative’, but until I do, I certainly will not be ‘upgrading’.
