I have not used my machine for around 6 months. Back then the machine operated flawlessly. When I fired it up today for the first in 6 months it would not home.
Attempt #1
I power up, hit the E Stop and then double tap home. The maching moves and then stops before getting to home. I then a Homing Error and a left Y motor alarm (flashing green and red). I seems a little noisy on the left side.
I tnen unplug the machie to clear the errors, plug in again and start over.
Attempt #2
This time i had a Z Hard Limit before homing. I hit E Stop and attempted to home and again I got the homing error and the left y motor alarm.
I tnen unplug the machine to clear the errors, plug in again and start over.
Attempt #3
I power up, hit the E Stop and then double tap home. The maching jerks a bit and then i get a Homing Error and a left Y motor alarm (flashing green and red).
I have unplugged and replugged the Y and X block connectors in the back of the Masso. I have also removed the covers on the two Y motors and checked to see that connectors are proplerly engaged. DIP switches on both motors are identical.
I tried to jog in the X maunually cvia the MASSO controller and the gantry moved in both X and Y at the same time.
I am beyond confused. Does anyone have any thoughts? I sure would appreciate the help.
