So, I have a franken spindle, redline 220v VFD with an Huanyang watercooled spindle, as in I ordered the redline as part of last machine i ordered, but being in Arizona, wanted to use the water cooled spindle. I actually used nice thick 3/8” silicone tubing, so needed some extra room to house the waterlines and spindle cable. I also used the extra space to mount a lcd tube underneath to add some nice lighting to the table. I used 18x50mm drag chain, need most 1.5 meters of it for both x & y sets. I created some extensions brackets to do 2 things, support the ends of the chain (about 4” of support), and also to raise the chain end points about 2 inches as chain was a bit crimped at the lower height. Light is just the strong 3M double sided tape on bottom of original hardware, which is still in use except the replacement taller bracket tied to back of spindle bearings.
