Need Industrial Touchscreen for Woodworking CNC - Temperature Issues - 2025

Setup: Onefinity Woodworker with custom-built control system (because building the electronics is half the fun, right?). Everything works great except for one weak link.

Problem: My current cheap Amazon touchscreen fails to be a touchscreen in my garage when temperatures drop below 50°F or go above 80°F. Texas garage shop life means I hit both extremes regularly.

Requirements:

  • Wide temperature range (ideally -10°F to 140°F operating range)
  • 10-13" screen size preferred
  • HDMI connection, USB for touchscreen, of course
  • Capacitive touch
  • Budget: willing to spend $200-500 for something reliable
  • Needs to handle shop dust/debris reasonably well

What I’ve tried:

  • Generic 10" touchscreen from Amazon - fails in temperature extremes
  • Considered going back to mouse/keyboard, but I instinctively reach for the screen anyway

Question: What industrial/ruggedized touchscreens are you using in shop environments? Looking for specific model recommendations that work in unheated/uncooled garage conditions.

Bonus points if you’ve used it in a similar CNC setup and can share mounting solutions.

Thanks for the recommendations, pictures for context.
