Didn’t have clearance for the mallet under the Z axis frame so took off the spoilboard from over the vertical table and clamped the mallet by the handle. Glued in the plug for the inlay now gotta wait til tomorrow to see if the inlay looks ok.

I have also found it useful. I used it to engrave numbers on the tops of molkky skittles. Holding the skittle at 45degs to offer up a top that was parallel to the main table. Worked a treat.
I wanted to do similar to cut out 60mm foam. But the vertical hole was too small for my needs. but i managed, just barely to squeeze on the existing table.
