New warm-up inconsistency with break-in procedure?

The most up to date redline spindle documentation asks for the following break-in procedure:

6,000 RPM for 20–30 minutes
9,000 RPM and run for another 20–30 minutes
12,000 RPM for 20–30 minutes
18,000 RPM for 20–30 minutes
24,000 RPM for 20–30 minutes

It was consistent with the OLD warm-up procedure (they both started with 6000rpm):

6,000 RPM for 10 minutes
12,000 RPM for 7 minutes
18,000 RPM for 3 minutes

The NEW recommended warm-up procedure as of Feb 12, 2026 starts at slower rpm:

500 RPM for 5 minutes
3,000 RPM for 5 minutes
6,000 RPM for 5 minutes
12,000 RPM for 5 minutes
18,000 RPM for 5 minutes

It looks suspicious that a one time break-in procedure from the spindle documentation starts with higher rpm than an every day warm-up procedure.
Should the redline spindle documentation break-in procedure be updated to be in sync with the warm-up procedure?

It is counter intuitive for sure. Most automotive manufacturers suggest that new vehicles not be over rev’d for some specific mileage as part of a “break in” approach.
