Did my first test run with the Gen 2, using Vetric the first time, and other things. A fellow CnC friend suggested that I try a sharpie drawing thing rather than jumping into high speed spinning blades. Seemed like a good idea. For learning, it also highlights how the surface height, material depth, and proper zeroing all are super important. I mean, its a marker right? This was fun and it worked and I am so excited about the next steps. First I started with just drawing a square to see if it worked. It did. For the pen holder, I used a model I bought on Etsy and 3d printed. Note to self here, if I ever wanted to be more seriously in this space, I need a better holder, but for this test, totally worth it.

I bought this model from etsy and just printed it. It was like $3. Worked very well with the sharpe markers
I must be missing which one you bought, but I don’t have a 3d printer so it wouldn’t work for me anyways.
