No bit change in 2 paths - do I still need to zero the Z axis?

Howdy all you very smart folks!

Easy question, but say I had two tool paths calculated (VCarve Pro) and the program thinks it is two different bits. Once the first cut path is completed, then the 2nd file is started but I actually leave the same bit in, do I still need to re-zero the Z axis? I’m actually doing this on purpose to trick the machine to cut a little further out then 32x32.

Thanks in advance!

No need to rezero… That is saved

Once the first toolpath is completed the bit will return to X0, Y0 & Z0. You cannot ‘Trick’ the machine to cut larger than the soft limits.
