Hi, the AO has a voltage output enough to trigger the SSRs (I use 2 SSRs in this case) when the the Spindle runs (Via Gcode or Dial). The NC1 and NO1 is just a contact so u still need to get the trigger voltage. And I think the rated amp capacity for these NO/NC contact is not enough for my Vacuum.
The AO in this case works for what I intend

Hey rickyacruz,
Obviously it does !
But there is a “13V” and a “XVCC” pin. Doesn’t one of them measure 13 or 15 Volts? Have you measured this, rp. could you measure this?
Perhaps not directly the vaccum, I think they are made for triggering the SSR that would switch your vaccum on.
I would rather expect that the AO is of limited current rating. It is obviously made for a frequency meter. But if you say it works for triggering the SSR
It is very sad that the manual is such a crap.

Hey rickyacruz, hey all,
by the way, do you know what they mean with “triode ouput”? I know triodes, they look like this and im pretty sure that there is no such a triode in a VFD after John Bardeen, William Shockley und Walter Brattain received the Nobel prize for physics 1956.
It could be a fault due to poor translation in China.
Yes thats 13VDc but, it is just like a regular power supply it is steady, not like the AO that comes on together with the Spindle running and turns off also when Spindle turns off

Hey rickyacruz,
sure, but that’s the power source you said that’s missing for using the NO1 output, which then will switch your SSR to “on” when spindle is in “RUN” state and will stop it when it is not. NO1 changes the state according to this if you set P04.03 to 1.
Thanks, I will check it if that’s possible to use for this application, and yes this AO varies in voltage depending on the RPM/frequency given by Gcode
I have no idea what that triode marking means I havent got a use for it so I havent explored that yet. maybe n d near future. been busy finishing my backlog of orders due to my Controller breakdown :-(. OF replaced them 2times now its working OK … so far but my powerdown screen changed and doesnt go to the exit blue screen like before. OF says its normal but I dont know I will still observe.
For now my OF is working on RS485 /Gcode. Finally got the courage to go full auto ( after learning the basics of my feed and speed and wood type and type of cut. I also introduced Dwell code or Pause code to get my spindle running to its target rpm before a cut is made ( inserted G04P…right after M03S… command every after tool change in the program.)
For now Im good with my setup and its time make some dough to buy a Journeyman
