Onefinity and beyond…
Is it just me, or is anyone else feeling a little overwhelmed (in a good way) by this week’s roll out of upgrades and add-ons by Onefinity? A lot of useful and well thought out tools for most of us who do this every day. And if you’re new to cnc machines, who else is doing it like Onefinity? It’s almost a no-brainer at this point (in my opinion).
I was one of the first to jump in with the Woodworker (thank you Mike Myers), moved up to the Elite, and have been considering adding another machine to my shop for a while. And yes, like a lot of you, I’ve been frustrated with the lack of options, shortcomings, and technical issues over the years. But Onefinity has always been on top of the technical issues and found solutions so people like us can keep working. The point is… to keep working… and my product is only as good as the tools I’m using. I’ve voiced my frustrations on this forum and to Onefinity staff in person, and in hindsight, I realize we were equally experiencing growing pains. They were building tools to satisfy me, while I was using their tools to satisfy my customers.
We’re all going through some tough economic times and uncertainties these days, and as a small business, we have to be very careful about the investments we make vs the product we can deliver. I will be ordering some of the products Onefinity offered this week, and I have no doubt these products will enhance the way I work and the product I deliver. I personally feel I made the right decision investing in Onefinity, so thank you Mark, Becky, Aug, Joe, and the rest of the team.
I think it would be interesting to hear other people’s stories and what you think about Onefinity so far…….
