Onefinity RapidChange ATC Wasteboard Mount CAD File

Onefinity has published a STEP file for the surface mount bracket, and has also posted instructions for tethering multiple ATC together (which requires direct mounting to the wasteboard…ie not using the surface mount bracket or QCW bracket)

Onefinity ATC / Connecting multiple ATCs together (FAQ)

Is there CAD file similar to the one above for mounting these directly to the wasteboard?

I’d also like to know why you need to use the bracket for a single ATC but not for multiple?

I do not think you need to use a bracket for a single magazine, it just adds height so that longer endmills can be used instead of drilling holes into the wasteboard. I believe I saw a table in the manual summarizing possible max/min stick-outs with the various mount options.

For dual magazines, I think they just decided not to make large mounts that may not be used by many.

How about the ATC QCW Mount , are you aware of any STEP or STL files?

This would be huge! Surprised no one has solved this problem yet

My holders stick down too far to be mounted to the wasteboard, and I have 2 ATCs so I can’t use the spacers?

Did I miss a step?

The table bracket is nice because it raises the RapidChange so you can lower the pockets and use longer bits. If you’re tethering 2 together you can’t use the metal bracket it comes with and the instruction manual says to mount them directly to the waste board.

I ended up making my own brackets. Here are the files…hopefully someone else will find them useful.

I am laser cutting them at this very moment!
Thanks!!!

I’m also trying the onefinity ones too. Hopefully this will work

The onefinity table bracket works great if you’re using one ATC. If you’re tethering two of them together it won’t work. The first file in the zip is for the front ATC…it’s essentially the same as the Onefinity bracket with a little taken off the back end since you remove a small piece to tether them together. The second file in the zip is for the second ATC, it’s shorter in the front since you have to remove the front portion of the rear ATC to tether them together. When you attach the two units together these two brackets should fit nicely underneath
