I’m using the Device MAC address(s) to limit access to my TPlink 5G Router and I need to locate the MAC
address of the Onefinity Controller. How do I locate the MAC address? I can see the IP address on the HDMI
Display but haven’t found the MAC Address.
Just need to update the Firmware and Tram the Z axis and I’ll be ready to do a bit of testing.

the onefinity will not display a mac address, only the ip address.
Yes, I understand that. But, I’ve now moved the Controller and Display real close to my TPLINK 5G Router.
I’ve connected the Controller by a 2.4G Wifi Link and I can see the connection in my TPLINK Router.
MAC Address is B8:27:xx:yy:99:05. So, I now have the MAC Address and my Router is OPEN. But I can’t update to Version 1.08 Firmware. Is there some Permissions problem preventing me from updating via Wifi?
Has anyone else been able to update via Wifi?

this is 100% something on your routers/modem side. No configurations can or should be made with the onefinity controller other than entering your ssid and password
A direct Ethernet connection to my Router worked, while Wifi wouldn’t. Maybe this will help others get updated.
