has any Nube’s had trouble with redline system telling you your outside the cutting area even when your in the middle of your wasteboard? I have a woodworker with redline spindle and redline mdi I think its called.
Sometimes it means you have not homed the machine, or you set your zeros incorrectly. Sometimes it is where you physically set up your spindle too low or too high. I have had it happen. The only reason I discovered it was that I did an air cut by placing a piece of scrap MDF under the probe block and ran the program and it cut air perfectly. Then I re-probed to the real surface and suddenly I was outside the z limits. I adjusted the spindle and then it worked perfectly. so yes, the spindle height in the holder can matter a lot.
Ensure your xy zero matches your cad file xy zero (bottom left vs center). This is often the issue.
@David47 Curious if that’s a ‘show-stopper’ system alert (i.e. needs to be cleared before you continue), or if it’s just a notification that does not prevent you from continuing?
The reason I ask is that I routinely get this message on my laser machine that uses Lightburn. After much wasted time trying to figure out why it would give me such a message, I learned that it was just a b.s. alert that I learned to ignore, because it has the option to ‘continue anyway’.
