either
- with a text editor of your choice, you open an existing g-code file, or write yourself G-code commands as plain text (the g-code syntax is explained here, the rest is explained here), and save the file as ‘.gc’ or ‘.ngc’, and upload it to the Onefinity Controller and run the file (a test file is here), or you take a special g-code editor and simulator as mentioned here,
or
- you enter the G-code commands one by one into the command entry field of the MDI tab (in the Tabbed Section of the CONTROL Page). The machine executes them immediately. This is useful to quickly get familiar with the g-code commands, what they do etc.
