Plug in monitor ( tv plugged via hdmi) and web based monitor (onefinity/local) can’t work at the same time on my machine

Plug in monitor ( 32” tv plugged via hdmi) and web based monitor (onefinity/local) can’t work at the same time on my machine.
Why do I need it?
Big monitor is beside the machine and web based is on the computer and I use it to transfer code to the machine.
How can I use them at the same time…, as of now I need to turn of tv if I won’t to upload code from the computer

It should work.

I have a large screen next to my Onefinity via HDMI for monitoring and settings and kicking off a job
I use web from PC to load files remotely over the network.

It might be EMI interference, well that seems to be stock answer to most issues - but I am not sure in your case as I havent done anything special

Not sure… as onefinity is in the basement and computer on the main floor… so if I forget to turn off tv I have to walk back again… gets old really fast…
Do you have graphic interface on your plugin in monitor…showing the cut… as I don’t… ?

No i dont. I rarely look at the graphic.

Hey Petar,

The Raspberry Pi OS inside the Onefinity Controller does not have the 3D acceleration drivers installed to show the CAMotics 3D toolpath simulation :frowning: On your remote machine you usually have, since usually you use a desktop machine or recent laptop for remote access to the Onefinity Controller.

However the HDMI TV should not interfere with your remote access. Probably EMI. I would try another cable. You have a mouse or trackball on the Onefinity Controller, and the TV is no touch screen I assume? No additional USB cable between TV and Onefinity Controller?

  • Is your remote access via WiFi, or via Ethernet cable?
  • How exactly does the problem show up? Does the remote connection fail? “Host not found” in the web browser or what exactly happens on your remote machine when you forgot to turn off TV in the basement?
