Hey folks! I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Safe and Happy New Year.
I am awaiting for my Elite Woodworker to be shipped in a couple of weeks. I have a small CNC right now that I would not use purple heart on just because it is not ‘strong enough’. At the family Christmas gathering I was asked to do a project that I would love to be able to use Purple Heart on.
I will be using a Makita router. Anyone have experience milling up Purple Heart? If so any insights?
Just verifying the USB drive needs to be 32GB and formatted to 32 FAT correct?
Purple heart mills perfectly on the CNC with the Makita. Leaves are purple heart, box is Padouk. Leaves are about 1 1/2" long.
1/8" roughing, 1/16" ball nose for finish
BTW, when you replace the Makita, go to a Makerspace router. MUCH better and made for the CNC.

You will not have any problems milling purple heart on your onefinity, even with the makita.
Here was a recent part i did to use up some scraps of purple heart. Fairly gaudy, but it was for a girl’s softball team and ended up a fair likeness of their logo.
