Redline Controller won't boot up after upgrade to 1.5.14 (Solved, Reflash SD card.)

Hi,

I just upgraded my Redline Controller yesterday to the 1.5.14 release and now it won’t boot up today. When I did the upgrade yesterday, that’s all I did. I didn’t actually run a job or anything. I powered the machine on, saw there was an upgrade, performed the upgrade, let it complete the upgrade, and then I shut it down. It looks like it’s stuck in some sort of boot-up loop. I have a video I can share, but it seems it is too big of a file for the forum. Thoughts?

Hi Roger,

It sounds like the upgrade didn’t fully take.

You’ll need to reflash the OS on the SD card.

Just wanted to callout and share/send kudos for @OnefinityCNC Support. They worked with me from 4pm Friday afternoon until 9pm Friday night and then again on Saturday morning. You’ll be very hard pressed to find that with any other company.

Customer service is something that is lacking in almost every industry now days. This is one of the main reasons I decided to go with Onefinity for my new machine. I hope they continue their highly rated customer service, but I hope it’s something I don’t need to utilize too often :winking_face_with_tongue:
