Redline HMI update issue?

So, I have a Gen 2 OneFinity Journeyman with a Redline HMI. I checked today and found there was a zillion gig update. Downloaded the update and all seemed fine until this point shown in the image,. This has been stuck on the analyzing update portion for over an hour. Is this normal? I didn’t want to click “close” as I’m afraid if it’s part way through the update I’ll brick the HMI. Any thoughts?

That seems, long.

I’ve never had one take that long.

If you reboot and it bricks, worse case scenario you can reflash the system.

Restart, It should only take 5 mins or so max.

Try the usb update method.

Thanks for your replies. So I waited, didn’t touch it, just let it do its thing. After a while I went to check on it and the screen was black except for the mouse cursor which would move so I assumed it wasn’t locked up. After about 10 minutes I decided to reboot it and all looked normal for the first half minute or so. Then the screen turned black except for the mouse cursor. I guess I’ll need to recover it. Does anyone know where I can get the file needed to recover? Also, is it as simple as loading the file onto a thumb drive and rebooting the HMI with the thumb drive inserted? Sorry, I come from the Shapeoko world and this HMI is all new to me. Thanks!

Here is how!

Did the flash this morning, all is back up and running as normal. I’m pretty sure the original HMI sd card passed away during the update, it wouldn’t read in any of my card readers on my pc. Thankfully I have a new stock of unused sd cards. Thanks again!
