Redline DRO displays Error 14 (solved) / DRO mounting holes (solved) when used in conjunction with the Redline Controller

I see the comment about Error 14 in this post - but the steps listed do not work for me. I even went through the Factory Reset and reprogramming steps - still no luck.

Has anybody run into this and solved it?

Do you have a Redline Controller?

User error. I had the Spindle set to None while I was getting things mounted - and never changed it to Redline VFD.

One more thing. Where are the DRO mounting screws? The Redline controller video shows the DRO mounted at the top left (from the front - top right on the back).

The first step in identifying a problem is realizing you are the problem… lol
We have all been there. But there is great support for novices and seasoned professionals that sometimes need a another pair of eyes to look at the problem.
Knowledge is gained from experience and experience is gained from mistakes.

One more gotcha for VFD noobs: the button on the side of the Manual VFD control unit, toggles between manual mode ON/OFF. When this is mounted to your Redlind controller, that button is located at the SIDE, and not actually visible from the front. When pressed in (meaning manual mode), your gcode will be stuck in “Spindle Wait” mode.
