I am setting up my new Rotary on a MASSO based Journeyman. When I connected it to MASSO following the manual, both the inputs, 17 and 23, were showing the “High” state in the F1 screen. The rotary did not work properly. The inputs are “Homing sensor” and “Motor alarm”, so it kind of makes sense. I inverted the inputs by pressing “space” in the configuration and it seems to have solved the problem. It homes and I can jog the axis OK.
I am curious if you also had to do this. Did you?
I contacted the support, and they OKed my solution. But the manual does not say that we have to do this to make it work. I am somewhat puzzled.
