I received the five emails last Friday that my order had shipped. As of today UPS shows that it hasn’t taken possession yet. How long does it take UPS to pickup the order once the labels have been printed?
Hey Rick,
I had the same issue about 3 weeks ago. I was told that the packages had to clear customs first before they would actually be picked up by UPS.
For me it took about a week before tracking info was available and the boxes were moving.
FYI- I ordered my machine with a spindle and the spindles are on back order (which was never communicated to me) with no idea from Onefinity when they will ship. I understand that they are reliant on the supplier for the spindles but their lack of any communication about the delay of this part is leading me to some serious doubt about their customer service… If you ordered the spindle it will most likely not be with the rest of the machine.
there customer service is amazing, Such a great company. they always stand behind what they sell, The only area where they are lacking is communication on shipping. That has always been the case since i have been a customer. I think part of the problem is they are a small company with a great product that everybody wants. the machines are top notch IMO.
They test cut everything before they ship, that takes time. and i imagine they are going thru some growing pains. Tons of product passing thru their doors, and it all has to be tested and packaged and shipped.
Like I said, the only area where they are lacking is communication in shipping. It would be nice if we received an email of where the product is inline and expected ship time. there is software that could do that automaticly.
I will say, it takes about a week to get products across the border with borderworx, Then you will start receiving emails of activity.
Thanks guys for the response. I completely forgot about it passing through customs. That 2 day Amazon delivery spoils a person.
Hey,
Thanks for the feedback. I’m glad to hear it!
Lou
The pacing back and forth is worth it… LOL
Yea, Amazon has me spoiled as well.
I can order stuff for my 3d printer and it will be at my house the next day, If i order thru bambu labs it’ll take a week or so. I print my clamps and such.
I am currently designing a steady rest for the 4th axis I am still waiting for from 1F, I won’t be able to finish it until i get it, I need to know the dia of the 2 rails and the distance between them, and c/l of rails to the center of the chuck. I will use that instead of the center. So i should be able to buck that end true perfectly instead of having to put a center in.
I must admit in being a little disappointed with Onefinity CNC’s communication regarding orders. I am waiting for a complete system (Elite Workshop) with spindle et al. Shipping date 10 Feb 25. However, I see lots of rumours regarding backlog of spindles, from other sources with nothing from Onefinity. Come on guys help us out here, no news is bad news some honesty would be great though.
