A simple 2 inch PVC water pipe will fit inside your 2.5 inch vac hose
(clamping it down) and turning down the outside of one end to 2.301 it will friction fit into the dust boot itself. The total length can be less than a few inches and you will still have a mostly clear view of it working. Light weight, and no 3d printer needed, and cheaper too. Even if you don’t have a lathe, you can file or sand down the one end. You only need turn down about a half inch of it. When I get my ATC I will send pictures, but I know this will work.
