Sometimes Up, Sometimes Down

Sometimes when I’m trying to move my bit up using the joy stick it goes up, then it goes down. Same thing can happen when I’m trying to move it on screen with the arrows. These moves usually bring up the incomprehensible message about being 225.xxx mm over (or under). I’ve read all I can find on Onefinity’s website about this message and still don’t understand it. First, are these two behaviors related? Second, how do I fix over/under problem? Please don’t send me to 1F help screen: been there, tried to do that, gave up.

If it’s a Buildbotics controller, it’s 100% a wire or wire connection issue.

Thanks for the response. Where should I go from here? Is this something I can fix (like a loose wire)? How could I get it fixed, if I can’t or don’t want to risk it?
