Spindle Startup Problem

I just installed the Redline 1.5kw 80mm spindle on my Gen 2 Elite WW. When I powered up everything (HMI, VFD, VFD display), the HMI did not show any spindle errors nor did the VFD display (it was flashing 0.0). I rechecked all connections, all were good. When I turned the dial on the VFD display, the RPM numbers increased, but the spindle did not turn on. I did check the RS485 spindle check box under the Config menu.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you push the green start button when in manual mode on the drop?

I’m assuming you meant DRO. Yes , I turned that on too. Just to clarify, how do you turn on manual mode? Also, is there any specific start up sequence?
