Itâs a marketing technique. They did it last year too.
Itâs not uncommon - trying to build up buzz, excitement and anticipation. I suppose it works because a lot of folks do it but Iâm not a marketing professional.
Itâs kind of like promising features will be out ânext yearâ and 10-years later weâre still waiting but the man doing it became the richest in the world as a result. Apparently lots of people have way more patience than many of us
Youâre right, I get it. What grinds my gears is putting something on hold just to wait for the dog and pony show. We all have things to do and if 1F has something I want, Iâm ready to buy it NOW. But to add extra time and cost only to justify someoneâs marketing/business degree is the best way to make me want to go elsewhere.
Hello welcome to Sunnyview Hospital, or Bobâs grocery store. We mayâŚor may not have the products or services you require. Just have a seat and play with yourself till we decide itâs time to show you.
See how that doesnât work in ANY other part of your life?
@John letâs be thankful there are products being released (vs stagnation), and if you want it great then buy it. If you donât want it or have objections to how itâs marketed, just donât buy or participate. Itâs nice we have options, let the company do their thing and vote with your money.
I totally get that waiting a week for a product can feel like an eternity, especially when youâre excited about it, even if you donât know what you are excited about . In todayâs world, weâre all used to instant gratification (see my amazon shopping history), but it is just a week for goodness sake.
Itâs not just a week. Itâs almost 3 weeks so far since the BIG announcement, with the rest of the week to go to find out if putting a project aside was a waste of time. What you guys arenât getting is that I would prefer to give my $ to 1F. But having to wait for the monkey dance is making that difficult.
Every company promotes before a release of a new product. Nothing new here. But i get it. Money burns a hole in my pocket too, especially for awesome stuff OF puts out. Good problem to have.
I am waiting to see what they announce this week and then watching Hamilton Dilbeckâs YouTube review on Black Friday where he will give an in depth review on the Onefinity Elite and Sience Altmill. I have been debating which one to buy and maybe Onfinity is going to have a BIG announcement to combat the market share they are losing to Sience Labs as you can see all the Altmill they are selling on their order page. In my research I believe Onefinity is a more professional company with better quality control and a better users community, but I believe Sience labs has used their technical explanation of rigidity to convince people their machine is better and people are buying because of that. Price is not that much different when you consider the value of the Masso controller you get with the Onefinity.
