however I just managed to destroy the top part of my slot 1 tool holder, and the step file listed on the other forum link does not seem to match the one I have. My tool holder “shroud” is completely smooth with no protrusions. This is the outtermost covering of the first tool holder pocket. Are they files available anywhere, as I think I now need to print out a new one. Thanks
Hi everyone! I spent the day making a model of the toolchanger shroud in both .step and .stl versions, because I skillfully managed to ruin the top of mine with an unplanned traverse. I figured if I can do it (ruin the shroud), maybe someone else can too. I am not trying to step on anyone’s toes with these files, and I hope it is OK that I post them. If this isn’t OK, please let me know. Both these files work on my printer, and with my machine, but I can’t promise anything for yours. This shroud is the smooth one on the outside with the two tiny screws in the side to hold it in place. Things are tight fitting, but do fit. I hope it helps.
you did an amazing job on the model and all dimensions are perfect except for the holes. they are to high for my Onefinity ATC. your model has the bottom of the side holes at .4825” from bottom but need to be .168 from the bottom.
