Hi there ! I just ordered a Onefinity elite woodworker with the RedLine spindle and RapidChange ATC. Since there is no dust shoe designed for working with the ATC (yet), I’m about to design my own boot (I’m an industrial design student after all).
Would someone know where to find precise technical plans/cad file for the ATC provided by Onefinity ? The RapidChange website does contain cad files for certain versions but not for the Onefinity-adapted one.
I’ve already modelled something using the image of the Ultimate package product page (image attached), knowing the spindle is probably 80mm in diameter, but I feel like the image is an ‘artistic representation’ of the setup. (pic also attached)
It would be nice if they could release models, but I am betting it is proprietary and they will not release it. Those that have been testing them I am sure have signed NDA’s and cannot let it out of the bag.
Only way you are going to get a model is to wait and model it up when you get it.
Hi guys ! I sent a message on the RapidChange discord and Thomas Greilick replied with the STEP file here it is for those interested : Easy ATC RapidChange model (1).step (5.6 MB)
haha yeah I’m learning plasticity (as an advanced rhino user) so I try to do everything in plasticity for the next few months;) the learning curve isn’t so steep, but precision modelling is rather lacking when coming from rhino
Tool Changer area. I am designing my new table for the new Journeyman with spindle and tool changer. What are the requirements for the location of the tool changer? That’s if anyone has the info yet.
