Stepper error on Masso

I finished the build of my Elite Journeymen and of course jumped right into a simple carve. I set the Z axis to low and hit a oops clamp and created an error on the Masso screen. How does one clear these errors? I ended up shutting down Masso, re-start, homed, set XYZ, moved oops clamps, and started over. Thanks

I recall seeing that motor errors must be cleared by resetting the controller.

Thank you sir. I’ll be sure to check all of these.

You do not need to set the XYZ after restart.
Masso will remember the work coordinates even when you power off.

The easiest way to avoid hitting clamps is to set your start position away from your clamps.
You can set the start position (this is not the work home position) in Vcarve in the Toolpath tab under Material setup, where you can also set the clearance (Z1). You should set Z1 slightly above the height of your clamps.

Do not ask me how I know. Been there.

Hey Tom great idea, I’ll do it. Also being new to this I realized I used slightly to long of a bolt on my hold downs and I set my Z to low during the build of my machine. Thanks for the great tip.
